Guys the response to the pride themed adopts is like overwhelming!! I'm probably going to have to devote like a week to all these fullbody drawings and designs, but thank you all so much!

Tui said the end would 'rip your heart out and stomp on it'?? Idk what she was talking about pike nobody died unless i severely misread something, Turtle and Anemone fought but was that sad for some people? Idk
The part that did make me cry (The only one) was Darkstalker talking to Clearsight. It was really emotional and I think it was super sweet. Maybe it was just a counteractive for him being an ass the entire book but I really do like his character, despite him being a very clear antagonist (Unless the big threat is some massive thing and he has to help stop it)
I actually like the part about the NightWings movibg off with him, I think it works well into reestablishing them into Pyrrhia. His hate against RainWings is meh but I think if he wasnt immortal he could be a good leader
Also just?? The ending was really underwhelming for me i expected something major to happen. Like turtle lost his powers and stuff but umm thats not super emotional, and its a tad vague but I'm fairly certain he didn't die so??
Anyways it was pretty good, not my favourite by any means (Turtle's character is a bit whiny for my tastes, and very self pitying) but well written nonetheless. It feels less like a plot book and more like a building book- character building, world building, adding some motivations for turtle and really expanding on both Darkstalker and Anemone's characters.
I also really liked how it doubly cemented that Qibli and Winter both like Moon. Qibli felt linda out of character to me, however; I feel like he wouldbt fall into the fumbling idiot trope that Turtle and Winter do. But I dont know, maybe thats just me.
